Our Education Model
Inspired by Saint Pope John Paul II, Chesterton makes it our mission to prepare our students for happy successful lives led by faith and a thorough education. Our classical curriculum combines a broad education in the liberal arts with a strong emphasis on the cultivation of Catholic virtues and an appreciation of beauty within the world.
Our Louisiana Locations:
Chesterton Academy of Holy Trinity - Schriever, LA (opened 2023)
Chesterton Academy of St. John Fisher - Sulphur, LA (opening 2025)
Our Curriculum
As a parent, you know it’s important to understand what your child will be learning when enrolled in a school, and in the Chesterton Schools Network, students enjoy a cohesive, content-rich curriculum. We ensure broad exposure to many disciplines to help students expand their interests and discover their passions. Because each year builds on the previous, Chesterton students are articulate, clear-thinking, and well-rounded individuals by the time they graduate.
The House System
Chesterton Academy’s House system is drawn from age-old traditions to provide real, tangible community within the larger school. We find that this gives students the opportunity to take ownership, fulfill the call to leadership, and cultivate virtue and connections among their peers. Each House has two Senior and two Junior prefects, two faculty advisors, and several parent liaisons.
