Holy Name High School to celebrate first graduation in 53 years

ESCANABA, Mich. (WLUC) - Holy Name High School, a Chesterton Academy, will hold its first graduation ceremony since 1971 on Friday, May 31.

According to a press release from the school, Holy Name will celebrate the six graduates in the HNHS with a graduation ceremony at St. Anne Catholic Church at 6:30 p.m. Following the ceremony, a reception with refreshments will be held in St. Anne’s Parish Hall. All Holy Name alumni and community members are invited, and tours of HNHS will be available for alumni and anyone interested.

The HNHS 12th-grade graduates will also celebrate a special Mass with HNCS eighth-grade graduates on Thursday, May 30 at Holy Name Catholic School at 9:10 a.m. The eighth grade graduates will then have their graduation ceremony on Thursday evening at 6 p.m. at HNCS with a reception to follow.
